I thought that the smoke was just getting by one of my open valves. I'm thinking of smoking it again with the cap on so as to make sure there isn't a leak that isn't showing its self because of the open cap.

The V70 reached the 940 mileage today

And I installed a new exhaust hanger, the old one had been modified which meant the Ferrita exhaust wasn't centered and hanging too low

Did a drain and fill on the transmission and an oil change. Car shifts smoother than a 2021 toyota highlander. We test drove one the other day and it felt so bland and jerky (guessing the tranny had not been broken in yet).

Went on a fun 270 mile road trip to Scranton PA today to pick up a "new" driver seat.

Decent gas mileage on the trip. I could have tried a little harder, but I wanted to make sure to drive in the 3000 to 4000 rpm range for a bit to blow of carbon deposits

I got really lucky because the color matches perfectly, and it's appropriately aged to match the rest of the interior.
It should bolt right in too since it's from a 2000 V70

It's a "regular" Viking
