Last month I restored AWD by replacing the AOC pump, fluid, and filter in my 2007 XC70 haldex unit. A quick trip onto the frozen lake made for a fun test drive.
I drive very few miles, maybe I’ve put 100 miles on since then. Today my anti-skid light came on and went off all by itself over two short trips with a break between them. I plugged in my iCarSoft unit and saw code DEM-0007, so I streamed the relevant sensor values while driving the neighborhood.
At 2300 RPM/20mph I saw:
Solenoid current: 1200ma
Pressure: 0.50 mPa
Pump current: 1700ma
Many posts suggest a failing pressure sensor is intermittent, so I guess I’m ok with replacing it. But is that a “Normal” pressure reading for a working sensor? If those units are mega pascals that is about 72psi, which seems capable of actuating something. The pressure fluctuated with RPM, from about 0.1 mPa at idle to 0.50 mPa at 2300rpm. The solenoid current did the same, but I can’t remember the resting value.
Normal AOC pressure in 2007 XC70 haldex?

I saw MVS suggested this post under mine where he reports 0.80 mPa at idle. I guess my sensor really is toast?

Now I’ve found this pdf that suggests my pressure is correct: https://automotivetechinfo.com/wp-conte ... Haldex.pdf
