My new Volvo furniture

What do you think about having Volvo furniture in your home? Well! I have a surprise. Watch the video today and I will post the pictures tomorrow. Sorry no sneak peeks. For those wondering after watching the video, I tried to mimic Homer Simpson. The second mimic part is from the Simpsons Tapped Out. I apologize for a practically absent autofocus. I'm surprised my lg v20 failed that much.

Noone has anything to say about it eh? I get it. The silence means "this dude is weird to the extreme and I am not going to comment about it". I understand. I looked back on it and was pretty embarrassed. I was just caught up in something interesting. I have relocated the couch, minus the base, to my spare room. I also failed to wire together the sound system.

LoL Matt does not sound enthusiastic. It may have been more cool to me than anyone else. I'm too obsessed.
The setup in my spare room without the base is more stable and a little more comfy. I want to buy a small amp to create a sound system for my couch.

I was imagining something like this 1957 Chevrolet couch. Steven Spielberg had one of these in his creative room 40 years ago. It was actually made from a real car! So seeing the rear seat in your picture gave me the impression it was just the first harvested parts.

You should take pictures showing how you connected the bottom with the back? That 960 had nice leather, shame the car is totalled ☹

Any luck on a used car?

Oh yes the leather is nice that's why I harvested it. They are not connected. The original setup (in my previous pic) consisted of three cinder blocks sitting on a twin mattress with the back sat on top of them, which are covered with a comforter, with the cushion sitting on the mattress. In my spare bedroom it's the same , just without the comforter or mattress. I cannot afford to buy a leather couch, but I had hoped I could use the 960 setup to lay my head on during the day. Cloth only stores and/or creates more heat while I'm laying on it, which affects my anxiety. My plan is to snatch a leather couch if I can find it for free on Facebook or CL. I want that coolness so I can relax and calm my anxiety.
Yes I'm very sad that my 960 went kaput. I really did do a lot of work to it. I confirmed that the differential was resisting the trans a good bit. I talked to a guy that is best with rwd vehicles. Of course I had to get the rare problem Volvo.

Most of us who are married know that these projects involve long lonely nights in the doghouse. It’s the trade off for a long list of tangible benefits and in my case, a lifestyle funded beyond my meager expectations to which I have become accustomed.

We do learn not to carry screwdrivers in our pockets, though, as Mike inFL will attest.
