2006 s60 t5 hu 803 FM intermittent

My radio FM is intermittent. Some times it works sometimes it doesn't. Am is typical static but goes away when i press rear defroster.

Realize there are hidden menu capabilities. Is there any adjustments I can make with the radio to resolve issue?

If so does any one have instructions on what to change.

My 2004 S80 did the same thing. Then while the inner sail panels were removed i cleaned the antenna socket and plug on the amplifier. See marked photo below. I attached photo without my comments and one of the package shelf with the amplifier in the background to give you a reference to its location. June

Matt i hate this "UPGRADE"!!! I have frustrated myself tring not to have duplicates...
