2003 v70 stalls very often. Parts replaced. Need advise

OK. MAF replaced. No Check Engine light. Power feels OK.
Car still stalls. Not often. Like it's back to the state of 2 years ago when stalling had started.

When I was replacing sensor I noticed something new: static electrical sound from the board near battery+ connection. Unplugged and plugged back all the relays. Couldn't understand which one is making it.

Looks good.

If by stall you mean the engine dies and you have to restart it, it's one of:

- throttle body - VIDA/DiCE can do a swipe test
- fuel pump - you have replaced it
- ECM looses the crankshaft position sensor (CPS) - trace wires, check the sensor and it's bracket
- bad electrical connections at ECM - taking that out and spraying with electric contacts cleaner would help

I do not have VIDA/DiCE can I go around?
Are other cars like Honda and Toyota as demanding as Volvos?

I've always believed in Sweden though I feel like I'm in Denmark

Yeah, P2 is not very reliable after 120-150k miles. Ford/Geely I don't count as Volvo, so my latest addition to the fleet was new Tundra. No bells, no whistles, V8. I managed to break it where 05 XC70 was doing OK, so I have mixed feelings

Temperature sensor would cause the issues your are experiencing. If a wrong temperature is provided to computer it will adjust the air/fuel mixture ratio and all xxxx can happen.

I am not sure if unplugging it will put the system in a closed loop, but cannot hurt to try for trouble shooting. Worse case scenario it will code which you can clear. Just don't be dumb about it if it works as you are not fixing anything only troubleshooting and you are taking out an important component and close loop is not optimal and can harm the cats in the end.
