New suspension all the way around
New suspension all the way around
After years of use the back coil springs were sagging and finally one of the coil ears broke so I replaced everything back there. I had a bunch of issues with the front coil springs breaking over the past few years. Sachs started offering the fully assembled Macpherson strut assembly up front so I went with that up front. For the back I went with all Sachs suspension parts to boot. I've always used the Sachs shocks with no issues but I had issues with the actual coil springs on our 2004 XC70. Anyway we are very happy with the ride quality and her stance looks so much better.

My 2001 T5 i just bought. Took me many years to find another "local" (i had to go two hours to get it still) T5 wagon. Needs a transmission, new wheels and a GOOD cleaning but I love it already. Feels good to be back!

Car looks good, even with mismatched wheels. You have already become a regular poster in a week. If you have any doubts about the overall health of this car, get it road ready and check it out before fixing everything.

Just looking it over at the shop and everything all is good. Took me almost 10 years to find another t5 wagon and iv gained much knowledge over that time reading posts lol. The final key is the transmission. im working on getting matching wheels now as we speak. I got some days off coming up so i can chill and work on it. Its not my only car so i can take my time and enjoy working on it lol.
