Quick note to catch myself on something this morning
Did pads and rotors in Catherine the 2005 V70 and I over gorped the caliper bracket bolts M10s with Ni antsiseize
When I installed the bracket and steering stop combo, the extra gorp nicely deposited right onto the inside surface of my brake rotor , not the best place to lubricate brakes.
I cleaned it with passes of paper and brake cleaner until the paper wiped clean

Anti seize is pretty messy. It will also reduce the torque "feel" so we need to be careful not to overtorque the bolts. Which one were you using ? The grey or the copper one ?

I use Nickel antiseize, as opposed to Copper ( bronze) or the aluminum ( grey)
Sources are Permatex, loctite , Gunk, andFord actually makes their Nickel stuff that many like.
You want to dial back lubricated torque specs 30% if you use lube, but make sure the torque spec is for dry fasteners. By far , most fasteners won’t exceed the elastic region if you use full torque , so this isn’t of paramount importance, but most overtighten stuff when they start, so err on the loose side

I did try the alu one on the lug nuts and didn't like the feeling indeed. It felt like it wasn't stopping as when the lugs were dry, it felt like it would still keep turning so it's hard to know when to stop especially on higher torque bolts.

I used to use anti-seize on spark plugs and lug bolts, but then I met this old sea salt guy who drove an old wooden sailboat, and he gave me a talking-to about galvanic cells.
Have you read the ingredients list on that anti-seize stuff, and compared it to the galvanic series?
It buys you a certain amount of time to disassemble easily, but cross that time threshold, and it becomes "always-seize-harder-than-ever" because it's basically a goopy version of a sacrificial anode.
I don't use it anymore.

The boat environment is much more extreme than ours. I find I cycle front brakes about every 4-5 years on my P80s and over that time frame the hardware comes off with the antiseize intact.
