Is this color normal for an exhaust manifold ?

Post by Sveedy »

Removed my exhaust manifold so I can switch out to the " R " manifold. Glad I did, considering the crack. But this rust color seems weird, like maybe I have a head gasket problem. Runners also have the same tint. I never have to top off my coolant so....any thoughts ?

This looks typical of recently used engine exhaust to me.
