MVS on six continents

I caught a rare event not five minutes ago: users from 6 different continents browsing MVS pages.

I've seen 5, and 4 is commonplace. But I've never caught 6 while looking at Analytics.

I rolled over the Guatemala City circle to confirm Central America, thus the tag on that bubble's location. The ones above it are in the US. Central America is rare to see.

Note the current user sample rate differs between the forum software, which often is over 500, and Google Analytics, which is often under 75, because of sample time. Forum software sample rate is 30 minutes while GA is 5 minutes. Also, GA is more precise, throwing out data it thinks is bot traffic.

I just thought of something. Central America still is a continent, right? It was when I was in middle school.

This is coming from someone who still looks at Russia and thinks "Soviet Union".

Technically part of North America but like gender, it’s all just a construct anyway.

Geographically it's part of North America.

It is called Central America because, culturally and historically, it has a lot more in common with South America than with the USA and Canada.

Geographically North America, Culturally South America. One could say that puts them in a central position.

There is an 8th continent showing up on the newest maps. The continent of Zealandia. You can count the members from New Zealand as from the 8th continent.

The Great Green Region of Cascadia would like to secede from NA.
(although these maps appear to include Northern Idaho, so I don't know how that will go over...)

The Supreme Court has consistently interpreted the Constitution to be an "indestructible" union.
Successful revolution, or through consent of the States are the only possible ways out of the union.
The first one is war. Nobody is sure how the second would work, "consent of the States" has never been defined.
