I met her two years ago, and she's charming and sweet, and she's the manager at Swedish Motors in Boulder.
She found me on the Internet and asked if I wanted any Volvo parts they were cleaning out, so I went up there and met them and had a great time.
She's a single mom of three kids.
Hello friends. I’ve got some (not awesome) news I wanted to share. I have been diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. My mom had breast cancer so I figured it was inevitable that I’d one day be here too, just not this early in life. Thank goodness for mammogram screenings or I wouldn’t have even known this was an issue. Talk about lucky. Bad news is it’s the aggressive kind.
She certainly won't be able to continue at Swedish Motors during chemo. Please give if you can. GoFundMe.org is a 501(c)(3) public charity, and doesn't take a cut of what we donate.Yesterday I had my first round of chemo, which is a huge step. Here’s to getting through this wild and crazy journey I seem to have found myself on, and make it through to the other side, however much these things will change me.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GoFundMeIn November 2017, GoFundMe announced that it will no longer charge a 5% fee per donation for US, Canada, and UK individual campaigns, and instead rely upon tips left by donors to support the website.[4] The processing fee for online credit card payments will still apply to donations.[26]
Thanks so much. It means a lot to me if you would give to Sophie and her treatment for the sake of her kids.
