I must have misunderstood the article. It said that Sinovac was a similar approach what is used for rabies, which I thought was given after exposure. Pretty sure that some vaccines are administered soon after exposure. Rattlesnake bites etc come to mind.

Might be an issue with semantics. I seem to remember the word " vaccine " used when talking about certain people who where poisoned for political reasons, who where then given a vaccine to fight that poison.

You are thinking Antidote: an·ti·dote /ˈan(t)iˌdōt/ : A medicine taken or given to counteract a particular poison.

I wish there was an antidote to political poison. Unfortunately you can't cure stupid .. but! ... you can numb it with a 2 x 4 .

Well according to this article MMR vaccines are used within 72 hours of exposure to combat measles .

Frankly the more I research this, the angrier I get. A " new " virus that the host country won't open up about to the rest of the world, while that same country also seems to be taking a different approach to mitigating it, but again we just don't know. I'm kind of surprised that the rest of the world isn't asking more questions instead of just taking what some think is a knee jerk reaction.
There is information out there that is not being shared, and that is a big problem which might manifest itself in vaccine hesitancy.

"MMR vaccine given within 72 hours of initial measles exposure can reduce the risk of getting sick or reduce the severity of symptoms. "

Within 72 hours of exposure not 72 hours after contracting measles. In other words, administered before the battle. Measles symptoms appear 7 to 14 days after contact . In other word you got 72 hours to start anti-measle boot camp.

Sounds like you are reading from sources that have a underlying superiority agenda. Don't let them dumb you down by pissing you off until you cannot think straight.

I thought they were pretty good links. Seem reputable, but your right - they might have their own agendas. But so do the pharmaceutical companies. Just look at J & J. They were circling the drain due to their liabilities regarding talcum powder and ovarian cancer. But they come up with a one shot vaccine, which looks like it could save the day, and their company, before it falls apart. Now those folks don't know where they stand.
Still, if people could get " treatment " or " vaccine " after exposure, then that would be a game changer I would think.
I think we need to approach this from a different angle because with less than 50% fully vaccinated in this country and only 14% world wide, we simply aren't going to get there the way were going. It's NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. Trying to force people under these conditions with what we know or don't know just won't cut it. It's like trying to solve a puzzle with out all of the pieces, or even the instructions.

If you let them get to you. You will be posting links to the poison. Expression their agenda because you lost the ability to synthesize original thought of your own.

I'm going to take your sound advice and stop getting ticked off. Instead I'll be heading out to the junkyard for some therapy.
But I do appreciate the discussion. :)
