Hello,
New user here. I am the brother-in-law to Made in Japan and he was instrumental in my purchasing a Volvo when it came time for me to get a new vehicle.

A little about my car...

2004 Volvo s40
Purchased in 2006 (as a certified Volvo pre-owned)
Currently ~66,000 miles
Dealer: Crown Volvo of Chapel Hill, NC

Only additions/mods to the vehicle: Volvo fog lights (Made in Japan got them for me for Xmas and helped me install them) and a Eurotag.

I love my Volvo and am a firm believer of the adage: Volvo for Life. :D

It is my goal to made minor mods to increase performance, value and longevity of my Volvo. I'm new to the forum and relatively new to the finer points of automobile mechanics.
2004 Volvo S40 - added fog lights, wheel skin, Euro tag, strut brace.



First time Volvo owner - I'll never own another vehicle brand. VOLVO FOR LIFE.

Welcome Esper,
Wake Forest, NC. shows my age. I was raised in Winston-Salem close to Wake Forest University, in high school moved to Texas, got married 25 years later now live in Charlotte with boys 21 & 18. And guess where my oldest son goes to college, Wake Forest (I wish- too expensive) ASU.

Enjoy that Volvo as much as we enjoy your BIL MIJ! :D
