I'll be out for about 2 weeks

I'm taking my son to Baja for a surf/camping trip. We'll be far away from Internet of any kind.

I'm concerned about spam. There's been more in the last few months than the historical average, and the MVS moderators have been spotting and deleting a good portion of it. Thanks MVS moderators!

You can do something about it by clicking the "Report Post" button.

That can hide the spam, but often these spam bots (programmed by humans) are sly, and the message looks kind of legitimate, so these posts do not get reported. If you think it's spam, please report it. It flags the post for the moderators and me.

Also, if you'd like to be deputized as a temporary moderator while I'm out so that you can delete reported (or unreported) spam posts, please contact me.

I'll have connectivity to the Internet for at least the next 72 hours.

Got back a couple nights ago. Thanks to the moderators who kept the village intact!

I'll post photos in a couple days. I have several hundred iPhone photos/videos and 6x36 exposures BW to process (at home :-)).

TL;DR

I taught my son how to surf :-D

Not only does your son get to learn a great sport, he also will be able to use surfing as a metaphor in many of life's challenges.
Try to learn life's bad lessons vicariously through others.

The only thing I know about surfing is...
