simple OBDII reads P0118,
temperature gauge is inoperative, just lays over on the left peg.
The radiator fan runs at full speed all the time the car is on.
ECT has been replaced.

Are the ECT plug and terminals in good condition ? Can you trace harness back to ecu, or even just meter across the harness side of the empty plug to check there is any value of continuity across it? ie there are no breaks in wiring.
