Fuel Gauge is not going to full, I'll pull the sensor unless there are other suggestions.

My older 1994 and current 1995 had the same problem. For the 1994, I took the sender apart (canister type) and cleaned the top portion of the sender. With the 1995, last summer, I took the sender out and just made the internal slide go up and down a half dozen times - it has worked properly ever since.

If I had a larger garage, I could have more Volvos.

What could be easier than that?!
About 15-20min job.30 if you want to take it apart and clean it.

I have a 1997 850 T-5 (313,245 miles) and am reading 16/18 gallons upon fill up top off.
I would like to go in a replace the fuel pump (last done at 148,325) using Roberty DIY (awesome dude!)

Would I be able to unplug and clean/clear the fuel sensor (no idea where it is or how 2) myself to make sure the range of motion is clear and able to read accurate?

Anyone done this yet? Any better videos?

Many thanks!
