This forum has been awesome for the last ten years, helping keep my 98 V70XC on the road. I can't thank you all enough. The time has come... she blew a head gasket again due to the terrible EGR design and I just couldn't justify another rebuild.

I managed to snag an 05 Honda Pilot for a song and am off to another forum.

Y'all have fun and keep on doing what you do. Thanks for the wisdom.

So who will get your XC in attempt to replace the head gasket? Good luck and have fun on the other side.

Sorry to see you go. I can understand your frustration. Wish you luck with the Honda. I had a brand new (my only ever new car) 01 Honda 'Oddity' when I first moved to Canada. Worst vehicle I have ever owned. The 03- have the better transmissions and by now hopefully all the issues it may have had are ironed out! :D

Good Luck!

Neil.

EGR? My 98 AWD doesn't have EGR. Or are you talking about PCV? Anyways, good luck piloting your new Pilot.
