Montana and several other states are consistently in the top 5 by my measurement of growth rate. Others are Wyoming, Minnesota, Arkansas, North Dakota, and my home, Oklahoma.

Americans have their heads in the sand. And to be fair, so do many other people around the world. Some have no choice due to government or financial ability to get the vaccine. If anyone out there doesn't get vaccinated, they are then a petri dish for developing new variants, and it doesn't stop.

I stopped in on a local Volvo independent to get advice on my ignition lock problem amd got the whole QAnon dump that the vaccine is sterilizing people. I tipped him $40 for his time because he is going to need that more than I.

You know the dumbing down of America is a success, when the idiots can be duped into take themself out of the gene pool.
QAnon convinced them the COVID-19 vaccines causes infertility. That is why they won't get vaccinated.

volvolugnut wrote: 09 Sep 2021, 07:27 More statistics on US states and COVID-19 growth rates. My raw information is from Worldometer. Any errors or misrepresentations are my own.

These tables show all available US states and territories and the COVID-19 data for the last 5 days. I have sorted the states alphabetically and added growth rates for last several days for all states with ranking of each day. Of course, this information changes daily. I have presented the table in two parts because of the screen shot, but it is actually one table in Excel.

Again, results change daily.
State growth rates for September 9, 2021. All information is based on reported information and actual results may be different.

For your information, the top 5 states or territories yesterday in growth rate (the worst containment) are: US Virgin Islands (0.444) with 6182 cases, North Dakota (0.227) with 121,217 cases, New Hampshire (0.181) with 110,779 cases, Montana (0.149) with 132,750 cases, and Wyoming (0.126) with 469,977 cases. US Virgin Islands has been in top 5 list for 66 of last 140 days. North Dakota has been in top 5 list for 330 of last 400 days. Montana has been in top 5 list for 124 of last 253 days. Wyoming has been in top 5 list for 178 of last 354 days.

Alabama, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nebraska, Rhode Island, Virginia, and Wisconsin did not report active cases. Several states have stopped posting new case and new death numbers. I will back calculate where possible.

A column on the right shows the current growth rate divided by the 5 day moving average. Red highlight states were over 2.0 yesterday. Yellow highlight states were over 1.5 yesterday. This is an early warning of higher growth rate in states. Many of these states did not report the last several days day making this measure more variable for those states.

My calculated growth rate for USA is 0.0177 for yesterday, up from previous day of 0.0175. This is not population or case number weighted. Yesterday, 4 states did not report new cases.

For 64 of the last 90 days the growth rate for the US has been above 0.003. This relates to a doubling of new cases in under 230 days.

Daily active case counts have a significant increase the last several weeks. There have been 62 of last 101 days with increasing active case numbers.

Deaths reported yesterday were 1929. This is the highest new deaths report since March 4, 2021 when the count was 1993.

https://theintercept.com/2021/09/09/cov ... -research/

Cherry of top all who was denying in media about possibility of lab leak (the main sources of backing the claims) all "western" people was funded by **country so famous but removed so not politic talks** so thats fun fact.

Anyway just so much lies from so many higher ups. No morals anywhere.

"Kessler insisted that bat viruses are not potential pandemic pathogens because, he said, “a bat virus is not known to be able to infect humans.”

--

Kessler did acknowledge that, while the original bat coronavirus in the experiment did not spread among humans, the research was designed to gauge how bat coronaviruses could evolve to infect humans.

--

Inside the lungs of the humanized mice, however, the novel viruses appear to have reproduced far more quickly than the original virus that was used to create them, according to a bar graph shown in the documents. The viral load in the lung tissue of the mice was, at certain points, up to 10,000 times higher in the mice infected with the altered viruses than in those infected with WIV1"

It doesn't help matters at all when thing that were " poo pooed " originally as conspiracy theories suddenly grow legs.
Yes it could have come from a lab; Yes NIH could have been helping with funding, according to Newsweek. Talk about dumb asses !!
Who thinks it a good idea to see if you can make a virus more contagious or more deadly ? Biological version of the neutron bomb.
So we're paying the price now.

Watch the ads on the tube and count how many vaccines big pharma wants you to take. About 6 or so according to my count. How many prescriptions do they push ? 100's ! They are the king of drug pushers. " Take this, take that. you need us in order to live ! ". So then when something like this happens, people just yawn and and figure it's just more of the same. Not unlike becoming numb to violence due to seeing so much of it on TV. You can end up in a situation, kind of like the boy who cried wolf ( didn't the wolf get him in the end ? ).

I think the days of doctors and scientists doing things for altruistic reasons are long gone. I'm not saying all pharmaceuticals or drugs are bad. There are plenty of good ones that keep people alive. But the industry ( that's what it is ) has become corrupted Now it's all about the almighty dollar. So I think in the future if you want people to believe you when it comes to serious health matters, stop commercializing the industry ! Removing all pharmaceutical ads from TV would be a good start.

As a side note; It would be interesting to research those among us who have lived past 100. Every time I hear an interview with one of them, and the question that is inevitably asked is to what do they give credit for their long life. Its always something kind of off the wall - " Eat a banana every morning ". " Eat 9 raisins soaked in gin for 9 days " " Eat chicken livers twice a week ". All sorts of reasons are given. But I have yet to hear one of those centurions give credit to some pill or shot that they are getting, courtesy of big pharma.
Try to learn life's bad lessons vicariously through others.
