Hello All! New owner of a 1998 Nautic Blue V70 AWD...

Thanks Neil! Just drove it and I can get it to thump driving along, letting my foot off the gas, then accelerating…I’ll push the pedal and about 1-2 seconds after I push it and start accelerating, it thumps. I’ll start checking those areas….when I figure out where they are…. Already been on CD website…definitely the place to go for that!

Thanks guys for the kind words about my new ride…and for the help…and I agree Clemens it will be tough to put it through a Chicago winter, but I have a heated garage and wash the cars thoroughly…even have an undercarriage attachment!

One of the things I listed are the most likely culprits on AWD's. I am jealous of the under car wash attachments. I go one further and just put the car away as the spray death the city here uses on the roads is really nasty. It eats through concrete!

I have a heated garage and had hoped to have a wash capability but cost overruns on the garage knocked that on the head. That and the $3000 the contractor wanted for just the drain!
