New member: 2007 S-80 V8 AWD

I'm a proud owner of a new late-2007 S-80 AWD V8. I hope to pick the collective brains of this list in the future, so that when I do have a problem, I can go to the dealer armed with information, or, to resolve the piddling problems on my own.

BTW- when car shopping, our specs were for large sedan for me; good seating and legroom for my wife and I; horsepower for me; good crash rating for both of us; comfort for the occupants. The large US (and a few other) sedans lost out due to comfort, handling, safety or appearance issues. Other "sport sedan" cars lost out due to size and seating issues. After seeing some of these cars advertised on TV in person, our thoughts were the TV ads employed very small male and female actors to make those "sport sedans" look larger. Most were like sitting in kiddie rides until we tried the seating and interior space of the S-80.

I only have about 800 miles on my S-80, but I can say that I like the handling and extra horsepower; the climate control and comfortable interior.

SINCGARS, welcome to MVS!
You'll find that most everyone here will be very helpful and forthcoming with information for you. Problem is that your car is so new there is no software with diagrams, etc. out there for it yet. Still, we'll try to help.
Btw, you've bought a very very nice car! Those S80's just keep getting better and better...I'm envious!
