I still need to figure out my evap leak code, nothing suspicious near the canister. I'm betting something up top is damaged after replacing the gas tank. Wonderful...

I hope not. With the FWD modification, I thought the system was much more simple or did you re-use a lot of the AWD stuff?

It is all FWD stuff, I swapped everything over from my 98 V70. I had to grab some other stuff like the fuel lines due to differences on ME7 cars, but it’s all FWD, regardless.
I’ll probably have to smoke test it. Within a week of swapping everything, I had P0455 come up, so I’m sure I missed something small. Then again, I think every P80 has P0455 ready to deploy at random...

Did you use all new pipes or are most used, including the Evap stuff? If it is used pipes, check the 'j' pipe at the carbon canister, like mine the FWD cars split on the top of the pipe where you can't see it.

Also check the pipe from the roll-over valve to the fuel tank filler. That one should not affect the evap I believe as it is open to air at the fuel filler end, but it is prone to splitting and giving fuel smells under the car.

Then of course, there are the pipes on top of the tank.......

I used a new J hose, and the L hose isn't very old. I'll have to double check the hose to the filler neck, it looks to be in tact, but with those things looks can be deceiving.

Took a long drive today to go to a flea market and let the car sit for 5 hours. Went to start it and had crank with no fire. Swapped the ignition coil and checked gas pressure. Realized it was not a 10 minute fix so i pulled out the laptop and had EFI340 Camshaft sensor connection bad. Went on a hunch and drove an hour and a half round trip +20 minutes fighting a sensor body that was seized followed by pulling the sensor out of the project car. Put the new old sensor back into my daily and everything was good to go. Original sensor was from 1994 according to the makers plate. New sensor is from 2007.

I replaced all cooling hoses. I think to be a good idea to replace also the tank...

I had the good idea to filter the coolant (less than 1000 kms), and here's waht i've found.Blue parts could come from an old gum seal on water pump ? or smal parts of blue silicon hoses ?

The blue could be bits of sealant if it was used anywhere like the water pump gasket, or it could be just general gunk. A new expansion tank would be a good idea, the plastic gets pretty weak over time.

In the last week, I replaced front speakers, reglued both front door panels & installed a better set of headlight assemblies I got from RobertDiy. Getting ready for the long, rainy nights here in Oregon.
