I've never owned an iPhone so this is for those who do and have cars worth stealing. Friend in CA texted and asked me what is that alert? She was visiting someone in the hospital and this alert followed her home. I told her to call the police per Apple Support page. I hope I read this correctly.

Someone put an AirTag in her personal effects on an effort to track her movements. Apple warns you when this happens. Tile does not give you this warning.

While researching what Tile was and how AirTag worked, a lady in a Youtube video showed how AirTags were being attached to cars. Also mentioned being slipped into personal effects, clothing, purse and backpacks.

Sent the video to check the car again and check the "PURSE"

also. Please hold my house and car keys till I get out of the hospital Mom. So if you get an iPhone Alert...
