When I bought my '85 760 turbo wagon two years ago, the sunroof was literally wired in place. I lost that "lid" and have bought another one from the junk yard and am wondering the best way to get it to stay in place and be watertight. I live in Portland and it is beginning to rain for the next eight or so many months. I currently have it wired in place but am getting the occasional shower upon stopping and turning. What sort of proceedure would it take to resore it to its original working push button order? Any input would be appreciated.
Also, my gas flap came off. Not the cap, the flap. I still have the flap, but the hinge is all busted up. Is there a sourse for these some where? I saw some of these at the junk yard, but I didn't see how to remove without damaging the delicate looking clips holding the hinges to the body and to the flap.
