Good afternoon.
We've been experiencing a strange pungent odor in the interior after the car has been parked for a few hours (and prior to starting it). My wife described it as "what your pee smells like when you're on antibiotics". TMI, but I have to concur.
The only explanation I can come up with is that the cabin air filter needs changing. We've only had the car for a few months, so I have no way of knowing how old it is. We've been using the AC a lot more with the warmer weather, so its an educated guess.
Any other thoughts?
Thanks.

I like the description and I think your diagnosis is right.
You could also run a cleaner through the air con system.
One I use is at: http://www.commaoil.com/. Click on 'Maintenance' and look at the Maintenance Consumables. One clean lasts about a year - mine is ready for another go.
Bill.
