1996 850 Turbo PCV question. Does everyone replace the big long pricey $200+ vent hose every time they do the PCV oil trap job? My car has 310,000KM on it.

I just did mine and fabricated my own out of copper tubing as detailed in this helpful video:
It was a little clunky to work with especially with the tight bend between intake manifold and engine so in retrospect I might have pursued one of the other mod ideas I've seen mentioned like fuel line/heater resistant hose for increased flexibility.
