What does it do if you run it with both the block petcock and the radiator drain open? Too much draining out to keep up?

i havent tried that. but i have been running, draining, filling, running, draining, filling for a while now today. its come out almost clear. once i put everything back together after i finish with the PCV system i will run one more gallon or 2 of water through it, drain it again and call it good.
