92 wagon 740 non turbo.
Im fairly certain it has the "regina" system not that I know what that is. Google is of little help defining what rex regina is and the same with locating this part.

I found so other parts that I will need like taillight lenses. The sending unit is elusive.

"Rex Regina vs Bosch Engine Management Differences:
"Rex/Regina is an engine management system that handles both ignition and injection, and was designed by Bendix. It's not difficult to tell what system you have, as the most clearly defined feature of the Rex ignition system is the giant transformer on the driver side shock tower. This transformer sits on top of a control module and makes up the ignition coil for the system. This is in contrast with the standard Bosch ignition coil that looks more like a tin can."

When you search for a 1992 the rubber sending unit ring is all they have. The Ebay unit is for a 1990 and it has 4 inlet tubes. Mine has only 3.

Assuming the 740 is similar to the 240 and I think they were very similar, the fuel sender unit should be mounted on top the fuel tank. It is integral with the fuel pump. You may have a cover plate you can remove from the floor to reach the top of the fuel tank without removing the tank. This information is from the Bentley Service Manual for 240 1983 to 1993.
I do not think the ignition system brand has any impact on the fuel sender.

Thanks, I have the old one out. It looks like the 740 does not work in the 240.

Is the sender damaged or corroded? if corroded, you may be able to clean it with carb cleaner and a brush.
