1991 780 front fog lights don’t work
I got this car back in November, before that it had been parked in a barn for twenty years. Anyways the front fog lights don’t work, all the other lights work on the car. Starting from the switch on the dash, there are two black wires, a yellow, a white and red, and two white and purple. In the kick panel above the hood release there is a red and white wire with a loose connector, I am unsure if it’s origins as I can’t trace it and I can’t feel another connector It would plug in to. Moving in to the engine bay I have located the two purple and white wires that go to each fog light and I have traced them to their respective lights. The grounds for each light are grounded to the tabs behind each headlight. The two bits that don’t check out are the lack of a “fog light relay” to the right of the fuel pump relay, there isn’t a relay or a place for one to plug in or an indication of a fuse in the fuse box that corresponds to the front fog lights. I have two fuses that indicate rear fog lights but nothing for the front. I am at a total loss, would the relay be located somewhere else? Is there even a relay? Any help or a good wiring diagram would be much appreciated.

I will also add that the dash switch for the front fog lights doesn’t illuminate when turned to the on position but the light on the switch for the rear fog lights does illuminate when turned to the on position.
