Interesting. I didn't know the post-850 wagon is an 875!

I like the V50 wagon, but I knew it was a Ford-Mazda-Volvo chassis.

They give the P2 a Ford chassis number, but that's only because Ford took over during production? It was designed before the Ford purchase is my understanding. Note that all those Taurus / Freestyle / etc are much later production dates - I think they used the existing Volvo design for their updated models.

Then the P3 is actually a Ford-designed world-chassis, correct?

The EUCD platform ( European Class D") is a Ford designed platform.

Class D is the 4th category of the European segments for passenger cars ... "large cars".
