It has to be a '96 or later. The '93- late '95 are completely different animals. You also need to match it for TRACS or non TRACS.

I used this ABS repair for my wifes 2001 awd xc v70.So it does work for newer cars also. The inside circut board looks just like the picture in this repair forum and it had the same bad solder joints in the same locations . I actually had to change the brake booster and had the whole master cylinder out and the whole ABS unit off the car to change the brake booster. It was very easy to take it off and repair thanks to this forum. I actually have a round magnifing glass with a light and it helps to see up close when you solder.

The write up on this fix was awesome, which made it a lot easier than it could have been. Anyways, I got the ABS box out and open hassle free. The pins were a heck of a lot smaller than I had anticipated. I saw some breaks in the power pins so i soldered them as described in the write up.
Before the fix, my speedo rarely worked and my ABS light was on constantly. After the fix, my speedo worked almost all the time. The board still got too hot when I was sitting at stoplights in 90+ degree weather
I made an addition to the fix by adding a few layers of reflective aluminum tape to the outside of the ABS board. It is just the tape that is used on air ducts in houses etc. I guess the aluminum reflects enough heat to keep the board cool enough for operation. SWEET and CHEAP!

97 Volvo 850 5sp, 120000 miles....and loving it
I forgot to remove the #14 fuse first and now nothing functions on the dash.
The indicator lights, speedometer, odometer, etc, nothing works.
I was getting ready to do the repair to the module to fix the ABS and TRAX lights, I haven't removed the module yet however, I only disconnected the cable on the box next to it. My wife had to use the car and upon driving it, found that no lights work on the dash.
Anyone know how to fix this issue?

Did you get the module plugged back in? Part of the power for the instrument cluster runs through the module.
