I considered that, but it will only work if there is a smooth/flat surface for that gasket to seat on. Since the manifold was meant to have a tube mounted in it, I'm doubting the presence of a suitable gasket surface.

There are two questions here.

There is a bung which bolts into the exhaust manifold which as a M18x1.5 thread on the SAS bolt side.

I documented the other side of the bung somewhere in the P80mforum , too.

Will,ressearch 3517096 3517097 after we celebrate the hit we put out on the Son.

Installed a new after-market wastegate, and re-flashed the ECU with a new tune.
Car positively came alive ! Pulled about 18 -19lbs of boost, but I think the tuner might want to dial that back a tad. I'll see what the numbers show, but I think I'm done with under hood improvements.
Looks like it's finally time for the dash removal and repair. Then on to another project. :D
Try to learn life's bad lessons vicariously through others.

You will be tearing up the flat lands and looking for mountains to climb!

Spent Easter with the girls down on Long Island. Caitlin and I drove back North In a Nautic Blue Convoy

Got home, baked apple pie, adjusted my parking brake on T5

Rolled upstate NY yesterday.

Lots of hawks, eagles , osprey, and a kestrel! Haven’t seen one of those in awhile,
