Looking For A 'Good' Work Lighting/Lamp

Now with technology, lighting has been taken to a different height.

What work light would you recommend? I have had a rechargeable work light in the past. I used it a lot, but now it's gotten weak. I now have a nice 3-Lights-head-strapped work lamp. It is good but does not keep charge long enough. I also have a nice work CFL corded lamp. The one issue is, the AC cable is not flexible enough to make the lamp not quite pliable for a good positioning.

I would like a 'good' work light/lamp, that would be:
1. Not bulky, so as to go into small areas.
2. One-mode lighting (just turn on and off to a single mode.
3. Rechargeable
