Position ECT Sensor in XC70

Hello Volvo experts,
Can you tell me where I can find the ECT sensor (Engine Coolant Temperature) in the XC70 from 04/2006 ?
Will appreciate pictures or a nice description about the installation location.

Look by the fuel rail, there's a connector plugged into the ECT. ECT itself is mounted into thermostat body, between the rail and power steering pump.

By the time you need to replace the ECT (usually > 120K miles), you may as well replace the whole assembly,
which includes the tstat + ECT in one device:

Wahler has t-stat inserts, they are much cheaper than a t-stat assembly.

There are 2 thermostat bodies and a chassis/engine break. The earlier one you can replace the thermostat only, the later one you have to replace the whole assembly. I will qualify this in that I did see someone managed to fit a new thermostat in the later body but had a nightmare getting it to fit and work.
