The Advanced Auto Parts Store guys have enough trouble finding what you need when you tell them the correct Make/Model.

For real. My brother went into Autozone yesterday for an AC belt for his Miata. The guy was so confused... kept trying to correct him to "serpentine belt". No, it's the AC accessory belt. He overheard him talking to a coworker wondering what the hell he was talking about.
Sure enough, he found the AC belt, with the newfound knowledge that this part exists

I honestly love that some of my older vehicles had seperate belts for the AC. I had an AC compressor completely lock up and turn the the belt into a squealing burning nightmare. A serpentine belt would have left me stranded. In this case I just cut the belt with my pocket knife and drove home.

Yup, it’s really nice to be able to do that! It shredded the AC/power steering belt on his way home from work the other day. That would have been a problem if it took out the water pump/alternator belt.

You probably could. These cars can be so sensitive, yet can keep going when things stop that would normally take out a car.

That Laser blue V70R in Vancouver has now come down to a more realistic price considering the rebuilt engine and transmission:

As a Vancouver area car it is much less likely to have seen the road salt wee get here in Calgary!
