My amateur advice would be get a LOT more rest than you think you need - just rest. Drink a ton of water. Get one of those fingertip pulse Oximeter gadgets to monitor your blood oxygen level and ask your doc about acceptable levels.

I had one of those wierd conversations with a friend I consider intelligent. He delayed vaccination , worried about safety of vaccine. ( ok, I disagree, but not an unreasonable given he is retired and can mitigate exposure)

Both caught Covid. Nasty symptoms for two weeks.

Their GP told them since they caught it, they don’t need vaccination.

This is just, wrong

They have caught it two more times each.

I’m not sure what to say after that.

The incongruity is think you can assess information on a vaccine safety, and then blindly following an untrained GP advice despite personal evidence to the contrary.

They are still unvaccinated.

I had a whole week almost without sleep. Horrible pain in my intestines. Went to ER two times. Ct-scan showed nothing unnormal. Now the pain has decreased to an acceptable level. Dunno what the heck that was?

It hit fast so I took medication on hand and felt 70% 4 hours later. 90% by 12 hours. The next day it was gone. June

It was called "MATH++ Protocol. It worked for me fast. Don’t know if any doctor can still prescrib it. I hesitate to say much more. A Dr. In Florida was using it last year. So the second time I caught it I had the Protocol on hand. I have 4 co-morbidity so very lucky to have lived in Florida then. June

It’s a combined regimen of steroids , antiinflaamatories, and blood thinners for hospital patients.

Do not try this st home.

The goal is manage the inflammation and subsequent damage without requiring intubation and/or ventilation.

You have to be careful with the doses since the safe efficacy range is narrow

I'm one of the lucky few that never really caught COVID. Still shocked as to how I managed to avoid it, never really took all that good care of myself

The WorldOMeter website https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us/ , reports about 25 % of US population has tested positive for COVID-19. However, with home tests widely available for several months, this count is likely lower than actual.

At this point, unless you sequestered yourself for 2 years, you’ve been exposed and probably would have tested positive at some point. If you vaxxed/boosted you probably weren’t even aware.
