[Off-topic] Windshield replacement

Post by andrew92 »

Hey everyone! First of all, it has been a great experience on this forum, I've learned a lot this past week or so. I apologize if this post is in the wrong subforum, I'm still kinda new to this :)

Getting into it, the title says it all really, I've been looking into getting a windshield replacement job done for my car, now I'm quite a simpleton so obviously the first thing I did was google the process of getting it done cheaply but also not compromising on quality. However, I'm hoping to get an expert opinion on the matter, that would be really helpful! I'm open to entirely new suggestions as well.

Thanks in advance!

Here's a very detailed video on how to do a rear windshield. I wouldn't think there would be much difference in doing the front. I need to replace my front windshield as well, and have been thinking about doing it myself (as in with help rather than paying to have it done). Let me know how it goes.

Also, if you can find your car's model subforum that would be the best place to post questions about your car for a quicker response. I just happened to see this post and thought I'd try to help.
