I just had my odometer repaired (they replaced the gears and rolled it to match my ECU). While they were back there I had them replace all of my dash bulbs. When I picked it up, virtually all of the LCD elements were just flashing away. Turning the knob had no effect... The mechanic tells me it the cars way of telling me that the odometer was messed with and will with withing 100 - 200 miles....
Has anyone else encountered this before? I couldn't find this 'error' condition in any reference book I had.
Thanks,
Chuck

I changed out my gears and lamps a couple of weeks ago and it did not behave that way. I wonder if the line from the info switch or the line between the cluster and the info panel didn't get plugged back in.
I do notice that it goes through some flashing fits when it is first powered up.
