Does anyone out there have a set of reasonable lug bolts they no longer need? I have been working on a friends car this weekend swapping out the winter tires and the chrome on long head bolts as used on the alloys have failed, some to the point there is no chrome left. This is a pain as they kept jamming in my impact socket.
I would also consider the short head versions in chrome or not for the winter rims.

That is ok. We can work something out and I'll cover shipping. There is no rush and our friend abscate ventures north of the 48th from time to time so we may be able to persuade him to post them over the border. I'm more wary than ever on USPS after they lost my last NLA Volvo part and are so far refusing to even try to look for it until they are 100% sure they have lost it!

And of course, now I remembered the thread. I have a spare set of bright finished alloy lugs too, not pristine but mid-Atlantic States OK. That would be appreciated very much. No rush. The ones I was working with were mostly chrome free and rust on the hexagonal section, so I think pretty much anything would be better! LoL.
