I've been catching Avalanche playoff games for the first time in 15 years, and it's almost as good as it was in the 1990s.
The games are very exciting. I don't know the names like I used to, but I'm getting there.
Avs just moved on to 3rd round... Western Conference Finals vs. Edmonton Oilers. I hate to see Canadian teams get eliminated, but I'm rooting for the Avs.

The goals of Avs-Oilers last night (14) doubled the over-under (7).

I haven't watched since 2007 or 2008. I got my grandma into watching hockey. It took her a couple of games to get into it, but after that she was hooked. She'd turn the Blue Jackets games on before I'd get a chance to ask her to lol.
I've been to a couple of games at Nationwide Arena, and both were the Columbus Blue Jackets against the St. Louis Blues. Tons of pics somewhere. Lots of fun to see live.

When I was little, my dad took me to DU hockey games in Denver sometimes. It was fun - small time college game, a real organ, a few hundred people, no fights.....
