ABS light on - fault codes p0505 & p0500 showing

Hi

Got a 1999 v70, 2.5lit, 10v, non turbo, automatic, 265k miles on it (uk car)

Its showing fault codes p0505 and p0500 with the ABS light constantly on, not getting any usual signs of ABS modual failing, speedometer is ok and not eratic. Auto transmission shifts up and down quite smooth and the engine performs well

Any one got any ideas

ABS module usually has nothing to do with the other, your module needs to be repaired/replpaced

Will get the ABS modual replaced/repaired

The p0500 code is - vehicle speed sensor fault - where do I find this on my model ? and is it a difficult job to replace it ?

P0505 code is - air idle control valve - should I replace this
