Headlight Switch 2003 S80

Post by Donna K »

When I pull the light switch lever towards me to make the lights go to high beams, the bulbs won't stay on high unless I hold the switch lever. If I pull the lever towards me and release it (like I have always done) the lights will not stay on high beam. Is there a switch problem or a bulb problem?

You're running daytime running lights...switch the headlights onto the ON position...the lights you currently have on are on only because they are required to be on...during the day...not because you actually have them on. This happened in our V70 too until I realized that I didn't really even have the lights on at all. Hope this helps.
