Jabber5 wrote:Does anyone know the correct OEM part number for the fuel filter of an '06 XC90 2.5T AWD? Looking online I'm finding conflicting information. Two part numbers are coming up depending on the web site: 30636704 and 30620512.
Old post but I want to update people.

If you go to Volvo dealer website and enter 30636704 and 30620512, it is listed for XC90 as follows:
http://www.thevpstore.com

30636704: listed for V8, 3.2L and 2.5T ---> 2005-2013 years.
30620512: listed for , 2.9L 2.5T and 4-cylinder engines.

But if you go to autohausaz.com and search for any XC90 from 2003-2010, whether it is V8, 3.2L, or 2.5T, you get a single listing of Bosch 0450905921.

So my thinking is 30636704 and 30620512 are probably the same for practical purpose.

I have read the Tuneup pdf by stone36 from 14 May 2009.
Very good write-up.

I also own a 1998 S70 GLT and have done ATF flush before, so I am familiar with this ATF flush.

I need some guru help...

1. I will flush ATF from the upper radiator neck nipple.

2. Checking ATF dipstick: engine must be running and at operating temp (similar to 1998 S70), is this correct?

3. For a typical drain and refill, is 3.5 qts about right?

I have done multiple ATF flushes in a variety of cars (Volvo, Honda Odyssey) and the drain/refill seems to have a common number 3.5 qts.
