Shipping? I drop off returns at their front door. Yes, the back of the wagon is full of boxes with FCP tape, full of heavy parts.

Maybe they should prorate parts based on mileage. Sorry to be the skeptic bad guy here!

You can return maintenance parts replaced on the Volvo maintenance schedule. A cabin filter doesn’t really fail, but mine get bad enough I still bag them!

With 5 Volvo’s in the fleet I’m careful to keep track of what part goes where to keep it on the righteous side with FCP . This I’ve paid for 4 out of 5 cabin filters over the years, and next year the Kat will get her first free one!

Thanks for letting me know about the sale. Used the MVS link and just ordered supplies and parts. FCP has great service and good prices.

Ok, so the sale only saved me 1% off my >$800 order. Probably because I got mostly Volvo brand parts (VVT solenoid, ECT sensor). Maybe aftermarket parts are discounted more. Does anyone have insight into what gets the big discounts?

Probably over stock or aged inventory.

They don't have to fail. Like abscate i've returned stuff that broke entirely because of my stupidity. Like the time I accidentally put brake pads in backwards and ruined the pads and the rotor. I mean they even say on their website they'll take back used fluids if it's packaged correctly.

One thing worth mentioning. If you order parts as a warranty replacement, they have a time limit for when they will accept the original back and issue a cash refund. I think they'll still give store credit though. Last year I ordered replacement control arms on warranty and it took me 4 months to get around to actually replacing them and when i sent the original parts back they told me about this policy.

I’ve abused the Time limit on returns but always gotten store credit. Of course, I just placed my 39th order in 2022…..
