Bad bearing noise and vibration under drivers feet at 30mph and up

How about the slim possibility that it’s something like a bad engine mount that has gone metal to metal, or some sort of exhaust/body contact?

The noise begins as soon as i start driving,it just gets more noticeable,by thirty its a dull roar.Its not the axles or wheel bearings,makes no difference if im turning.Angle gear and collar just replaced but unfortunately had no effect.Its right under the drivers feet,basically where the axle goes into the transmission.I will drain some trans fluid and look for metal debris,If i dont find anything i will have to pay someone to put it on a lift while its running.I have had it on stands running but its not a very safe operation,i certaintly dont want to be under it.Im over 60,this crawling around on my hands and knees is taking a toll.Not easy.Pretty frustrating after changing wheel bearing,axle and angle gear to no avail.When i removed left front axle and ran in up on stands there was no vibration.Thats what led me to replace that axle and wheel bearing.Noise was still thereafter that so i wrongfully assumed it was the angle gear or coupling.The coupling and splines were pretty worn but still functional.New coupling and a good used angle gear didnt solve the problem either,,just lots of shiny new parts.Im about ready to park it on the railroad tracks,dont want to change out the transmission but seemingly that appears to be whats necessary

I'd say you eliminated the possibility its the transmission already.

Could it be a stuck caliper or warped rotor, or a hard spot on the brake pad? Could you do a video of it driving and making the noise?

I just had it up in the air all four wheels at thirty miles an hour indicated,cant find anything external,mounts are fine,carrier bearing looks a little tired but its not making noise.I ordered the right front axle and wheel bearing,they both look fine but thats the only thing left i havent replaced.I did notice that when engine is off and wheels off the ground i can rotate either front wheel almost 30 degrees before the opposite wheel rotates.Also,on the left front axle there is a fair amount of up and down play where it enters the trans when pushing up on the axle,im not sure if this is to be expected at almost 200k on the odometer.I will replace the right front axle and wheel hub,if it still has a problem then thru the process of elimination it must be internal to the trans.I did drain a quart of trans fluid and found no metallic debris with a magnet.The parts arent really that expensive its just the inabillity to determine the source of the vibration that aggravates me the most at this point,alot of wasted time and effort

rotors and pads are new,calipers are not stuck,i cleaned and lubed the pins,they float freely and make no noise.I cant believe it would be the right front axle carrier bearing as it felt fine when i had it out but i will replace it anyway to rule that side out,then will be both axles and wheel hubs new,as well as angle gear and new coupling

It seems the right CV axle generally goes out before the left one, I'm not sure why. I wanted to reiterate that if your'e not replacing these parts with GKN Loebro axles then save your old ones for reuse. Chinese aftermarket axles are universally junk and will fail within 6 months, also get a good brand of bearings like FAG or Timken. I'm thinking its that passenger side axle!

30 deg of slop between the two axles seems excessive. Was the trans in Park when you did that test? When you installed the LH axle are you absolutely certain you got the C-clip all the way home?
