On a Ford streak here.
Orange one is the DeTomaso Mangusta (man GOOS ta!). Precursor to the Pantera. Mid-engine Ford V8. Two rear lids on the rear deck are hinged up the centerline, and swing up like a butterfly hood on a 20s car. They were wild, but had some issues - I think I remember reading they overheated.
The sedan is also a DeTomaso, the Deauville. Front engine Ford 351 V8, very fast luxury tourer, 1970. Independent suspension, 4 wheel discs. Designed by American Tom Tjaarda at Ghia.
At the time DeTomaso was involved in the ownership of Maserati, so this car has some crossover and shared components with the Maserati Quattroporte (4-door), the Maserati Kyalami, and the DeTomaso Longchamp coupe. I read they built 244 total.
Interesting that it has similar body proportions to the earlier, elegant, much curvier Jaguar XJ-6.
