Sad puppy face.

I can't help but point out the tax dodge license plate scam here. This Long Island Ford just happens to be licensed in Helena Montana? No, this owner set up a dummy LLC in MT which owns and registers this car. The LLC has an address in MT. It's a "legal" loophole set up by attorneys. Exotic supercars, classic cars, million dollar motorhomes. No sales tax paid.

Rant over.

Wyoming has no emissions testing, so there's some cross-border shenanigans here in Colorado regarding that. I don't know about sales tax in WY.

Whatever the case, that car is really great. I'd say 1956.

If you had not heard, Polaris (the off road vehicle maker), has purchased rights to Indian motorcycles and been selling retro Indians the last few years. The photo is not a 'New Indian'.

That’s for sure. These things were cool - riding along on that tractor seat. Early ones had a long shift lever all the way down to the box, so you let go of the bar, hit the clutch with a foot I think, and shifted by hand.

A local guy we used to know wrote a novel - “Rebuilding the Indian.” Good story.
