09 XC90 water under front passenger carpet Topic is solved

I recently replaced the AC/ Heater blower motor and when I pulled back the carpet for access there was water underneath the foam below the carpet. Would anyone have any Idea where this would be coming from?

Clogged or compromised sunroof drain is the usual suspect, followed by a clogged cowl drain on the passenger side causing water to well up over the cabin intake air cover lip. Possible disconnected drain at the bottom of the blower enclosure but you just pulled the carpet so likely not.

Might be good to get the carpet up and out of the vehicle if you can as if you're seeing water on the floor the floor foam has probably gotten well soaked.

Search MVS for test and repair of the sunroof drains.
