For sale is my 05' Volvo V70, base, 5-speed in mistral green with tan interior. It has close to 157k miles on it now and the car is well maintained. I think it is in slightly above average condition overall. Everything works as it should with no warning lights showing on the instrument cluster. The timing belt has been replaced at an independent Volvo shop at 110k along with water pump, idler, tensioner and aux belt.
Although this is a base V70, it is nicely optioned with leather seats, sunroof, automatic climate control, built in child boosters, back up sensors, Roof Rails, rear spoiler, Homelink and even a 12V power outlet in the trunk.
I bought the car at the end of 2015 with 109k miles. The exterior has a few little scratches and dings, but nothing major. I was told by the selling dealer that it was involved in a fender bender at some point and the front left corner had been repaired and painted. This did not show on the carfax report so I didn't worry about it.
At the time the driver door had poorly fixed damage and started rusting. I found a near perfect door as replacement, but unfortunately the color does not match too well with the rear of the car, possibly because the paint was blended in before. This can be seen in the photos.
The headlights have been polished and covered with Laminex film shortly after I bought the car and they still looks very nice with no haziness.
The interior is still in very nice condition. There are no rips or tears in the seats. I installed an “R” steering wheel a few years ago with matching black steering column covers. The airbag has been replaced a few months ago as part of the recall.
The car comes with a Weathertech cargo liner and a new set of carpet floor mats. Currently there are OEM rubber floor mats in the car. It also comes with three keys (two working remotes and valet)
Service history:
Oil changes have been done around 3500 miles with Castrol GTX high mileage synthetic blend. I have the records available, as well as the receipts for all the repairs done under my ownership.

I enjoyed driving this car, how clean it was and how well it pulled. If I didn't have four manuals in the fleet I would be sorely tempted!
Good luck with the sale!

Beautiful colour combo and the best year for P2s. Ok, I just made that up.
I almost de-fleeted a bunch of mine before Covid, then three kids scattered into new jobs needing cars, and they depleted by fleet!
GLWS!

You could eat breakfast off that engine, well done! Beautiful green I’ve seen it on cars before, but not one so nice!

Looking for a V90 to be my next Volvo, at the very least a T5.
2017 XC90 Inscription - My best Volvo by far, but Ex-wife departed & I had to sell.
2001 S80 T6 - rebuilt trans, head gasket, fixed & sold
1997 V70 - kid car, sold
1996 850 GLT - found under bridge, 2 year refurb project, commuter car, kid car, T-Boned - SIPS saved passenger. Totaled.
1997 VW GTI VR6 - exceedingly fast.
1971 VW Type II/231 - it was pointed out by management that the children would be killed in it.

Thanks Bart. It's getting no action though. Not really surprising because it's a relatively small crowd here. Maybe the price is a little on the high side too, I don't know. But I would rather not do the Craigslist and FB marketplace thing if I can avoid it.

I tried to donate my car back to the Charity that sold it to me. They couldn't guarantee to repair it and may just sell it to the scrape yard. I'm not on FB but got an account just to list. Paid the $5 for CL. Neither FB or CL generated any interest. It's also $5 and first time listing with Carguru. Carguru generated half a dozen interested parties and a few offers.
Just so you understand how it works, there is a list of 4 items to choose for reply from those interested in your vehicle. Unless the interested party adds info in the optional "custom message" section you will not get any personal contact info. Once you establish messages I believe you can ask for contact info. I didn't realize this so had not answer back to the interested parties. Supposedly those who contact you have been verified / vetted.

Thanks, I may try Cargurus soon. I have been searching for cars there before, so it makes sense.
