V70 SE T5 2002 Radio question!

Hi

I have a V70 SE T5 Ex Police, with no radio!, which I am in the process of sorting out!, when I replaced the double din in my TDI I found the amplifier and got the correct leads and away I went.

I am fairly sure I havent got the addtional amplifier in the T5 and its just a 4 speaker connection plug, so my question is.. is the amplifier still located under the seat on this model?, I have had a look and there is nothing there, so just checking there isnt another location!!

The only time a Volvo would have the big amp is if it has the big (HU803 in your case) radio, which yours never had

Many thanks for the reply, appreciated.

I have a centre speaker and what appears to be two speakers in the two front doors, and two rears.

A the moment I think I can only spot 8 wires for the speakers, with no din plug to feed any sort of amp, how does the centre speaker get its signal, is it wired between the front two?

I don't think you do.
Did you remove the speaker grill, I'll bet it's empty.
The center speaker ONLY came with the 803 Dolby stereo and I would be surprised if a cop car came equipped with one of those
