Late 50s, but another car I'm not sure of. I like it a lot though. The 50s had the best looking cars ever made. All the cars today all look the same, and the worst part is they're trying to make them all electric.

Spotted about three hours ago. I said "nice _____" and she said thanks as she was cranking down the window. Then she paused for a second and added, "The brakes don't work," and drove off.

True story.

HA! Ancient Fiat 124? 128??

My mystery car is a Facel Vega, a posh French car with a Chrysler 440 under the hood. Very stylish at the time. It’s other sad claim to fame is that philosopher and author Albert Camus was killed in one.

The 348/409 engines were an oddball design with a 74 degree block deck, and no combustion chambers in the cylinder heads.

Watching 409s pulling off the line, with all the torque twisting the front end sideways, is an interesting sight to see.
