Can you provide the brand and model. Did this a year or two ago at friend's. His son is into casting and forging with an anvil, if that's forging. He and my boy worked on the muffler delete for the 08 C30 so I didn't pay attention to the equipment. May have had air of sorts coming out at the tip. Son's first attempt at welding. I tried it but I couldn't see well enough.

Yeswelder Mig 205DS , 3 in 1. (Mig, Stick and Tig) .
$379 amazon, I run it on flux core wire, no gas required, it makes for messy looking welds,
I don't care as long as it sticks the parts together.

Is it true the Hobart welders make Coffee , the Millers beer, the Lincoln’s are popular in the Continental ?

100km after drivers side wheelbearing, passenger side balljoint, wheelbearing, axle…. A slight groan is back when at very low speed. Almost a rubber on rubber friction noise but I can hear it through the chassis. Looks like my work on this car will continue.

Changed alternator yesterday, today I will just leave them stay in the shade…….

one of the ears on my muffler flange has rusted away, wondered if I can build it back with just weld bead and a grinder.
Can it be done ?

total savings $900, told my wife I'll split it with you. Write me a check for 450.
